Objective:
The primary objective of the Battery-Powered Mini Fan Activity is to introduce children to the basic concepts of electricity, energy, and simple machines through a fun, hands-on STEM experience. This activity is designed to encourage curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving as children assemble a working mini fan using simple components. We aim to help children explore how everyday devices work while appreciating the knowledge and abilities Allah has blessed us with.
Purpose:
By assembling a battery-powered fan, children discover how electrical energy can be used to create motion. They learn that when different parts work together, they can perform a useful task. Our goal is to inspire children to explore science and technology through experimentation while recognizing that the ability to learn, invent, and create is a blessing from Allah.
Activities:
During the Battery-Powered Mini Fan Activity, children participate in a variety of engaging experiences, including:
- Mini Fan Assembly: Children, with teacher guidance, connect a small battery, motor, fan blade, and connecting wires to build a working mini fan.
- Exploring How It Works: Children observe how the motor spins the fan blade when connected to the battery.
- Testing & Observation: Children test their mini fans and observe how the spinning blades create moving air.
- Discussion Time: Teachers encourage children to share their observations and discuss how electricity and motion work together in everyday objects.
Outcome:
The Battery-Powered Mini Fan Activity inspires curiosity about science, engineering, and technology while developing fine motor skills, observation, and problem-solving abilities. Children leave with a better understanding of simple electrical circuits and motion, along with a greater appreciation for the knowledge and creativity Allah has blessed people with to create useful inventions.
